It takes its name from a repeated line in the film referring first to Jack Sparrow ("He's a pirate!", exclaimed by Weatherby Swann, to which William Turner replies with "And a good man!") and later to William Turner as Elizabeth Swann's final line in the film. In the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides soundtrack, the theme is heard yet again in the end credits roll, but has a Spanish guitar theme put into it by Rodrigo y Gabriela. A slight variation appears in the middle section of " Drink Up Me Hearties" on the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End soundtrack. It is featured at the end of each film, and is the first theme heard as the end credits roll. The track is best known as the main theme for the Pirates of the Caribbean films. ![]()
